Adrian Flux is once again the toast of recession-struck West Norfolk, as the specialist motor insurance provider this week announced plans to recruit 100 new staff locally by November.
Spurred by a year of record-breaking sales for its specialist motor insurance products (which include) cover for classic and high-performance cars, modified cars, kit cars, imported vehicles, motorcycles, vans and caravans) Adrian Flux is recruiting, and recruiting big!
The East Winch firm has broken all previous sales records not once but three times this year, in March, April and July. Sales and Underwriting Manager Robert Balls attributes the company’s rising fortunes to intelligent and creative use of online and other marketing, better trained staff, investment in advanced technology and a strong performance on price comparison websites.
“We are always inundated with applications from individuals from King’s Lynn and surrounding areas,” he told local paper EDP, “so it is great to be able to support the local area and offer people the chance to develop and build their careers. Many of our managers and supervisors came into the company after completing their GCSEs or A levels and have gone on to have a very successful career at Flux, myself included.”
Formed in 1973 in King’s Lynn, by the late Adrian Flux, the company has expanded its range of insurance products and seen staff numbers rise by around 150 in the past three years alone.
