With M day now just a few short months away, excitement continues to mount around the impending Mountain Monkeys charity monkeybiking weekend.
Event organiser Stick-on Ty-phoo is encouraging participants not to suffer alone, urging everyone involved to distribute copies of a specially commissioned print-it-yourself flyer to everyone not involved, in an effort to dilute the suffering and raise yet more money for those pampered layabout flyboys over at life saving airborne ambulance service the YAA.
To hasten the day when you can rush out and purchase more obscenely expensive ink carts for your mysteriously cheap lazy git printer, why not run off some copies of your own (see download link below) and rope some of your friends or associates (depending on which you have) into riding around Yorkshire on a tiny motorcycle with you for charity?
As if further enticement were necessary, participation comes complete with a totally non-exclusive opportunity to spend one or two nights at the internationally renowned Mercure Hotel Wetherby for the unbeatable price of just £54.00, with a slapping great breakfast thrown in for free.
In a tantalising update on his route-planning progress, Mr T has revealed that he hasn’t really decided where we’ll be going yet, other than that it will include Yorkshire’s steepest roaded slopes and will involve an estimated “150 miles of fun” on each day of a two-day event.
You wouldn’t want to miss that would you!
