It’s that time of year again. The nights are drawing in, the leaves are going funny colours, and six eager new contestants are limbering up to take part in the insurance industry’s premier reality web-tv contest, Broker Apprentice.
It’s no good pretending: Bankstone News is almost beside itself with excitement at the prospect. Like rival reality show the X Factory, Broker Apprentice has been conducting regional heats and has now revealed exactly which combination of genuine contenders and deliberately selected comedy no-hopers will be battling it out for the coveted BA crown PLUS a £1,000 “experience voucher” and up to £1,000 for a professional development programme and four one-on-one “mentor sessions” with L&V% broker director Mike Rain.
Judging by the illustration run by organisers Insurance Ache on their website (see below) , this year’s crop is the usual combination of sassy short-skirted fillies and weirdly macrocephalic puny semi-humanoid males.
With filming due to take place in October and December, it’s anyone’s guess what crazy antics this year’s hopefuls will be getting up to, but you can count on Bankstone News to follow them every step of the way, keeping you fully updated with spitefully snidey comments and wilful misconstructions of the various contenders’ characters, actions and motivations.
If you can’t wait for that, you can check out preview bios of the first couple of candidates now live on the Insurance Apes website. Although, I’d wait if I were you. They both look a bit dull to us.
Hopefully, they’ll soon be busy making prize public idiots of themselves, and the fun can begin again.
